This assignment will require you to identify a career path opportunity (e.g. specific job, paid internship, fellowship, or graduate program) and write a resume and an application in the genre required (application essay, cover letter, etc).
The resume and application will be in the format and genre required by the opportunity the student is applying for, and will be turned in ready to submit.
Please write a 1-page cover statement in which you discuss the opportunity, a brief analysis of the audience that will consider your application, a listing and brief summary of the materials you've prepared for it, and any other thoughts on the application process. Please indicate if you're planning to submit the application and by what date.
