Fall 2015 Startup

Welcome to the Fall 2015 season of Introduction to Poetry, produced and directed by Prof. Leonardo Flores.

This course blog has served previous seasons of the course, as can be seen in the posts below, but as with shows like American Horror Story, this semester the course has been completely reinvented. This semester we will be focusing on how poetry arises from material conditions, specifically around the body (memory, voice, gesture) and writing (manuscript, type, print, and electronic).

So if you’d like to see how I taught it before, by all means take a look at the blog’s past history. It will continue to inform how we approach this course now.

Here’s to a great semester!
